OpenVPN on Asuswrt-Merlin
Before you start with our guide, please download a configuration file to your current device.
Enable IPv6

Login to your router in the web browser, default address is http://192.168.1.1

Go to IPv6 in Advanced Settings

Change Connection Type to Native. Press Apply to save the changes.
If you are being logged out from the router, login again.
Configure VPN

Go to VPN in Advanced Settings. Click on VPN Client in upper menu. Upload your .ovpn configuration file that you previously downloaded from our configuration generator.

Name your VPN connection by entering something in the Description field. I.e: AzireVPN-SE1

Change Automatic start at boot to Yes to have the connection started at boot.

Change Accept DNS Configuration to Exclusive. This will force the router to use our DNS servers.

Type your Username and Password.

In the Custom Configuration field, remove "block-outside-dns" if it is filled in already.

Press Apply to in the bottom of the page.

Reboot the router. Go back to the VPN in Advanced Settings again after reboot.

Open your .ovpn configuration file in a text editor.

Copy the Static key and paste the content in the Static Key field.

Copy the Certificate and paste the content in the Certificate Authority field and press Save.

Change Force Internet Traffic to Yes

Go to the top of the page and change Service state to Yes. You should now be connected!
